Honor has recently announced the launch of the Magic V2 foldable smartphone. The device will compete directly against the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and OnePlus Open in the Middle East region. At just 231 grams and with 9.9mm thickness, this is the thinnest and lightest foldable smartphone available in the market today.
Honor Magic V2 Specifications
Honor Magic V2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It features a 6.43-inch cover display and a 7.92-inch foldable screen. Both displays support 120Hz refresh rate with the LTPO technology for better battery performance. In the UAE, the Magic V2 is only available in one variant, which offers 16GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The foldable smartphone runs on Android 13 with MagicOS 7.2 layered on top of it. Under the hood, the phone features a 5,000mAh battery and it supports 66W fast charging.
In terms of the cameras, the Honor Magic V2 sports a triple camera setup at the back. This setup includes a 50-megapixel wide-angle primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens and a 20MP telephoto lens. The front camera on both the cover screen and the inner display is a 16MP sensor with a f/2.2 aperture.
Honor Magic V2 Price, Availability
Honor Magic V2 has been launched for a price of AED 6,899. The foldable smartphone is currently on pre-orders, which will run till February 8. You can either book your phone via Honor’s UAE website or you can visit Emax, Jumbo, SharafDG to pre-book your Magic V2. Alternatively, you can also head over to Etisalat, Amazon or noon for pre-booking.
